This webinar is the last in the HRMS 101 series and is intended to provide you with one more piece of the HRMS puzzle.  Previous sessions included creation of a HCM strategy, evaluation and selection of a software solution, and how to manage a project.  Now we turn to implementation of the solution so you can apply the knowledge you’ve gained and acquire new skills to successfully deploy your software solution and realize the benefits you anticipated during business case development.

In this session will review the implementation basics including:

1.    Who should be on the project team
2.    Implementation phases
3.    Conversion of data
4.    Scope management
5.    Change management
6.    Global implementation considerations

At the end of this webinar, you will have a basic understanding of the major tasks which are required for HR technology solution implementation.

Jan Fretwell, HRIP
Ms. Fretwell is the founder of Beachside Consulting Group, an Encinitas California-based organization dedicated to the effective use of information and technology to support HRM functions.  She has years of HRM systems experience and has worked with a numerous organizations to establish iHRMSmplementation approaches to ensure HRM delivery systems are responsive to and supportive of overall organizational goals and business objectives.

Ms. Fretwell has managed numerous HRMS projects and given numerous presentations on project management and project management issues.  She is a recipient of the IHRIM Summit Award for contributions in advancing the human resources information management profession and is a certified HR information professional.

John A. Hinojos, HRIP

John A. Hinojos is Vice President, Consulting Services at HRchitect.  He has been in Global HR and HR systems for over 30 years working with a variety of companies including: W.R. Grace and Co., The Seven-Up Company, and International Technology Corp.  He is a co-developer and a presenter of IHRIM and SHRM educational courses, and has assisted in the development of the IHRIM Certification program and study guides.  He is an internationally published author and speaker. 

John is currently President of IHRIM Southern California Chapter.  He chaired the 2001 IHRIM conference in San Diego and was the recipient of the 2001 IHIRM Summit Award, the 2010 Chairman Award and the 2011 Ambassador Award.  He has his HRIP certification from IHRIM.
